First Day
Walking to school nervous as can be
Just wanting to flee
Not knowing where to be
Finally someone speaks and tells to follow thee
Go to the rug and take a knee
Sitting as quite as can be
“class were gonna learn our A B C”
silence again and then noise she put in a CD
everyone starts to sing “ Down by the Sea”
now its time for recess yippee
everyone meets at the tree
realizing that your free

There are many moments in your life that change you for a lifetime starting with going to school your first day of school. Looking back it looks like the smallest moment but at the time it was the biggest changing moment from leaving your home and family.
